Hi! I’m Meghan and I’m a psychotherapist, teacher, and educator who brings 15+ years of experience in human services, higher education, and yoga education, to my psychotherapy practice. My higher education career began as a college counselor for low-income, first-generation college bound students, and evolved into becoming an Admissions & Financial Aid Officer at Harvard University. During this time I also became a yoga teacher and learned the meaning and methods of “self study.” I frequently noticed the sensation that I felt “off” - just not like myself. I could sense that my full vitality was held back by some unseen force. My resilient spirit hid this from others' view but something deep inside of me told me that I was not living at my fullest potential.

I received a formal diagnosis of Hashimoto's Thyroiditis (autoimmune thyroid disease) in 2016, at age 31, and in that moment my world shifted. I knew instantly that on some level I had been drawn to the practices of yoga as a life raft - and I felt relief knowing that I had already been cultivating the very mindset & tools I needed to reclaim my health. The realization that I had become this ill forever changed my life and catapulted me towards a career in which I could commit to living at the vibration of healing, sharing with others all that helped me regain my vitality.

As a psychotherapist, I specialize in supporting people of all ages and social locations who experience chronic illness and/or chronic pain, as well as those navigating the many opportunities and challenges that come with the emerging & early adulthood years. My research interests are wide and include evidence-based approaches to achieving symptomatic relief through nervous system regulation, stress management, trauma resolution, and the rapidly evolving field of psychedelic therapies, as well as the scientific evidence for the role of hope in healing.

Alongside my psychotherapy practice, I serve as Academic Director of Curriculum & Lead Instructor for MyMentor Global Academy, an international e-learning platform. In this role I get to create and teach original curriculum focused on whole person character skill development - things like Self Awareness, Empathy, and Resilience - for high school students around the world.
